The work completed by BPC

This project brought several systems together rather than focusing on a single bolt-on part. BPC performed the work listed below. The specification describes this car; the right plan for another E39 starts with its condition, existing modifications and intended use.

Separate brake setups for street and track use

The brake work included an E65 master-cylinder upgrade and stainless lines, with Carbotech XP20 race pads and a separate Yellowstuff street-pad selection. Listing those choices separately matters: the car’s track specification should not be confused with one pad setup intended for every kind of driving.

For a similar project, bring your current brake specification, the event you plan to attend and any pedal-feel or wear concerns. Ask how the proposed parts work together, what inspection is needed and what preparation is required when changing between configurations. MCS suspension and Powerflex bushings

BPC also installed MCS 2WNR suspension and new Powerflex bushings. These are part of this M5’s chassis specification alongside the brake work. The component names alone do not describe its alignment, damping settings or event readiness, so those details should be discussed separately when planning your own car.

A useful consultation starts with the way you use the BMW, its existing tire and suspension setup, and what you want to change about its behavior. For unresolved noises or handling concerns, begin with suspension diagnosis before selecting upgrades.

Engine refresh, Dinan induction and a carbon-fiber plenum

The engine side of the project combined a refresh with Dinan intakes, velocity stacks and ITBs, plus a Partee carbon-fiber plenum. Those details give this build a clear identity beyond an exterior photograph. They also show why an engine project needs an agreed scope: refresh work and the selection of induction parts are separate decisions within the same build.

The exhaust configuration

The car’s exhaust specification combines Unicorn headers and a test pipe with a resonated X-pipe and Dinan mufflers. The owner also lists this combination in the public build posts. You can explore the car’s sound and presentation through the owner’s video linked below.
