Steven brings over 18 years of hands-on experience and deep technical knowledge to his role as Head Engine Builder at Bimmer Performance Center. His career began after graduating from an automotive diesel college in Nashville, Tennessee, where he developed a strong foundation in engine mechanics. Driven by his passion for BMWs, Steven went on to complete the prestigious BMW STEP program, further advancing his specialized expertise. Before joining BPC, he spent four years at a BMW dealership, followed by 14 years with BPC, where his dedication and craftsmanship have made him an invaluable part of the team.

As fate would have it, Steven’s journey eventually led him to Raleigh’s premier BMW dealership, where he met Dan and formed a lasting friendship that would shape his future. His dedication to the craft and team spirit shine through both in the shop and at the track—Steven regularly supports Bimmer Performance Center’s shop cars during track events, ensuring they perform at their peak. His own personal car, a meticulously maintained ZHP E46, reflects his exceptional taste and lifelong passion for BMW engineering.

A true enthusiast at heart, Steven takes great pride in servicing and restoring vintage BMWs, spanning from the early 1980s through the early 2000s. His deep respect for the brand’s heritage and commitment to precision craftsmanship make him an indispensable part of the BPC family.

Beyond his technical mastery, Steven is known for his generosity in sharing knowledge and offering guidance to colleagues and enthusiasts alike. Always willing to lend a hand, he embodies BPC’s spirit of excellence, collaboration, and passion—qualities that make him an invaluable member of the team.
